This green glass heart was made by Fire & Light in Arcata, California, where recycled bottles and jars became colourful glass for the home.

Hand-poured into a mould, it is a pleasingly solid little piece, with softly rounded edges and tiny bubbles caught within the glass. The green deepens through the thickest parts, while light catches the gentle ripples along the sides.
